At KSM Group in Randers, we continuously invest in new machines for the factory. That is why we have now also purchased and commissioned the new Deckel Maho DMS 160U duoBLOCK with RS4 and six automatic palette shifts for cutting machining.
The fact that the machine is 5-axis refers to the number of directions the machine can move in. The investment has also meant that we have significantly increased our capacity for 5-axis complex machining up to 1600x1250x1000 mm parts.
With a large working area and 120 tool exchangers, the new machining centre has given us the ability to reduce cycle time and maintain tolerances better with fewer tensions, which strengthens our overall competitiveness.
